New Quiz Kids

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

A very big upgrade of OTRR’s Quiz Kids holding.  While not a personal favorite, it certainly holds an important place in radio history.  Previously we had 21 episodes, all from the later stages of its run (1950-51).   we have added 113 NEW episodes along with better encodes of the existing shows.  Included are the 1940 audition program, dozens of shows spanning the whole ’40s decade, a special broadcast from the Disney studios, and a pre-show warmup from 1949.  Most of this was dug up and shared with the OTR community by Tim Carpenter.

/
/
/Thanks to Kurt Schriver for uploading this important new update!

/
/
/were epsiodes from another series.  My bad.  But that shows that
/
/
/
/after all these years of the OTRR and others trying to clean up the
/
/
/
/mess that is mp3, there are still bad materials floating around.
