Many Thanks To Kurt

Thursday, December 16th, 2010

It is with great sadness that I bid goodbye to Kurt as Head Librarian.  He has provided us with a great year of service and been of  uncalculatable help to me.
/
/
/
/I hope that when things get a little less hectic in his life, he will consider returning as Head Librarian.  He will continue to work in the back ground for a while.
/
/
/
/We will continue to provide you with FREE downloads and also continue to add new material as we acquire it.  We still have quite a bit to upload and know that more is coming down the pike, and will for a while.
/
/
/
/I trust that each member will continue to observe the download limits so that everyone can have the same opportunity to share in the library’s holdings.
/
/
/
/A big round of applause to Kurt for his devoted service!

It was a very good year…

… but it’s time for me to turn in my Library card.  Life’s gotten a little crowded where I live and unfortunately something had to give.  I hope you’ve all found some things to make your collections a little stronger and your days thereby a wee bit happier whilst I’ve had the privilege of “command” here.
/
/
/
/I turn the reins back to Jim now, but I’ll continue to donate as much content as I can and assist here and there with show and log corrections, and I hope you’ll all provide Jim with that same kind of support.  He’s got a lot on his plate (which I feel more than a little guilty adding to) so please be as kind, patient and positive as possible… and remember who’s paying the freight here… and for those who’ve been so inclined, save the diatribes and nitpicks for your spouses or someone else who really deserves it.   This remains an outstanding OTR resource as far as I’m concerned and those of us who make use of it should be grateful that it remains available, extensive, and free… if you want more content, provide it… if you want improved functionality, volunteer your services to make it happen instead of expecting it of others.  Ain’t nobody here getting paid, folks, and sideline sitters don’t have opinions that count for anything.
/
/
/
/Many thanks to those who’ve offered programming, error corrections, and notes of appreciation this year;  I appreciated you, too and valued you and your contributions highly.  From today, though, please direct any email comments directly to Jim as I’ll not be able to respond.  Best wishes to all of you for happy holidays and I’ll see you around the dial somewheres.

Massive Guest Star update

Thursday, December 9th, 2010

Just a quick note to let you all know that our Guest Star holdings have been nearly doubled with the addition of 155 new episodes, too many to list individually.  These filled plenty of holes in my own collection;  hope they’ll do the same for you.
