While the Old Time Radio Researchers organization decries the selling of old time radio programs, or the renting of 'bandwith', by mp3 dealers, we do support wholehardedly the providing of episodes and series by those who pull from first or second generation sources or encode from transcription disks. We have good working relationships with a number of them.
Many of these dealers spend thousands of dollars each year to search out, clean up and encode episodes, and we feel they are entitled to not only recoup their expenses, but make a profit in order to continue their business.
The OTRR urges its' members and friends to support such dealers by buying, when possible, series and episodes in CDA format, cassettes, reel-to-reels, or transcription disks.
If you would like to be listed on the OTRR Library site as a recommended source for old time radio programs, please send us an e-mail with your information, information about the types of programs you offer, and a link to your site.
